5:19 The work of a poor farmer is not meaningful to you... except that you need that poor farmer earning almost nothing for the food you eat at cheap price. The missery of many to keep things working is part of all monetary systems be it comunism socialism or capitalism.

This is just right wing economics dressed up as pure rationale. The virtues ascribed to the positive sum world existed in the steady state world, but have been cherry picked to serve the narrative. What's more, the positive sum world will only exist while the area of available resources still has some extractible potential. What happens when the resources are exhausted... does the world revert to steady state morality? Daft.

It was wonderful if they have been able to stuck demand stopping population growth, now innovation is the world's cancer, wasting every earth's resource

This idea of selfishness is not outrageous and may be socially acceptable too, I feel. There will always be gaps and inequalities but this approach would mean that at least most of the world's population has a bare minimum, even if the rich have even more resources at their disposal. It will also assign greater value to the developing/underdeveloped countries.

He forgot to mention automation and how that will make much of humanity obsolete as the ultimate goal of selfish greed. All for us and none for no one else.Don't believe the hype.

Noble idea, but we're currently still in zero sum game. Many people are highly educated in developing countries, but their education don't prevent them from hating Westerners over the past colonizations, blaming other races and killing in the name of their religions/ racesYou could find out the backward people's thinking by reading their hateful comments or by living in their countries. Indoctrinated people will always blame others for their failures, no matter how educated they areHumans won't be able to reach the next civilization level as long as country borders, religions and territorial nativity claims still exist

Around 15 million still die each year as a lack of food, water and medicine that we have more than enough supply of. There will naturally be demand to create poverty, since this will make it easier for capitalists to negotiate deals that massively exploit the worker/innovators.If you live under low standards, it would not take much to sell out yourself. Also, more poor people cause less competition for the capitalists

If only money directly drove innovation. That's exactly the problem is that money doesn't inherently have direction, you can spend it on whatever you want, like armies and disinformation campaigns and making sure that the unprivaledged don't see benefits.
