I watched a program, from a great outdoors man ( Ray Meres ) probably spelt wrong? Iβm sorry ! . He said get your feet cold in water or snow then put your warm socks on and get in your bag. Youβll sleep π€ like a baby!!!! π€·ββοΈβ€οΈππ¬π§ππππ¬π§

Knock two sticks in the ground and hang your boots upside down on them. Itβll keep them dry inside the boots. Itβs a great solution too keeping your boots dry. πππ¬π§β€οΈπ¬π§

A couple of your green 4-inch logs set up as a reflector surface would add meaningful heat under your cook tarp.

start taking along some powdered organic cayenne pepper with you on your cold and wet weather adventures. It will improve your circulation and you won't wake up in the morning with cold extremities anymore. stay healthy

Kind of a dumb question I guess but I noticed you always put down a thin piece of plastic under your tents to keep it clean. It looks very light weight. Anything special or just a lightweight piece of plastic? Great for backpacking weight. Was wondering if you ever put down a heavier footprint for any reason or is this thin plastic all you need.

As far as a bug out bag I keep my meds, snacks, water, pens, paper, chargers for phone and kindle, flashlight, knife, batteriesβ¦but Iβll stay in place if my place can be safe for awhile or Iβll stay in my car if I can move it. My apt and my car can hold more stuff like food and bed.

That looks amazing. This is my dream. Sitting by a fire under a tarp. Listening to freezing rain, remember I'm currently watching a snow storm out side my windows. But, why do you pack up in the middle of bad weather. Dont get it. Anyway, enjoyed.

I feel like I live in a tree-house. All of these trees surround my windows, i just sent you a message about the snowstorm, the tree are covered in snow, so it's easy to imagine I'm there.

This is great, I'm watching your video, as I'm also watching out my window a snowstorm that's hit New York city. I still have my xmas tree up. Thank you.
