Nitrogen is helpful especially if we have "Steel Rims" steel rims generally produce much amount of heat as compared alloys. Brakes system also get heat up easily by steel rims. I know there is nothing much difference but 5% of difference could do wonders with old steel rims. One more thing tyres doesn't get rust easily especially with steel rims.

My 99 taurus has 310 thousand miles by sheer luck. Ill be the first to admit that I don't take the best care of my car. I haven't had to do any major repair in almost 5 years. I'm starting to think this is the big man just giving me hand outs

So this mechanic is going to tell an engineer how to design a power circuit. If a power circuit into a computer isn't protected against wrong input, then that is not a well designed power interface circuit

Scotty’s Top 5 Things NOT to do:1- Never DON’T buy a Toyota2- Don’t ever, and I mean EVER, pass up a chance at a ‘94 Celica 3- Never buy a “stupid piece of crap”, AKA anything not made by Toyota4- Don’t buy all these new cars with all this fancy crap. It’s a waste of money. Find yourself a nice, used Toyota.5- Don’t disregard items 1-4

I'd be interested in knowing the makes and models that end up with electrical current running through the cooling systems. Following the path of least resistance means there's probably an easily avoided aspect of the vehicle's design that leads to the generation of current outside of the electronics. I'd bet these vehicles would have more problems the closer to the planet's magnetic poles they are driven. Possibly also at higher altitudes due to less atmospheric shielding from everyday cosmic ray bombardment.
