I love your videos. They are so experiential and really brings the audience into the experience. We didn't camp when I grew up, I took my kids a number of times when they were growing up but I ultimately copped out and bought an RV. Your videos make me want to get out there and actually CAMP.

Curious why you set your tarp up so far away from your tent? Why not set up to cover your tent entrance? That aside great video as usual. When I can’t get out I watch your adventures to keep me going.

I'm concerned how you stayed warm. But I like the part where you were back in an area that has many memory a plus you watched a movie from your child hood hope you had a couple of naughty mags, in your pack or you could now just watch it on your phone. Look, I'm having a bit. Of vodka. You brought that up. I can have my fun in the snow, but I live in manhattan. I actually got stuck by JFK in 35inches of snow. Nightmare. I stayed at a DELI/ STORE. ALL NIGHT.

Why not put a tarp over the tent for added protection from the snow and then have like a porch, with a chair and fire in front of the tent

Any reason you didnt have a stove in the tent? Wasn't it cold. I enjoy your vids.

This guy sounds like and reminds me of Survivorman, Les Stroud. Except, Les talks a little slower.

I can’t help but wonder how many times you have to setup the camera and walk in front of it trying to get the perfect look you’re going for, and then walking back to get said camera again just to do the same thing 800 feet later

LOL, NO NO to Nurse Mom is SOOO true :) I had my neighborhood brothers to go out & be adventurous with. What we did, if I got hurt, we went to Ryans Mom, if Ryan got hurt, we went to Toms Mom & so forth. :) WOW, the good days indeed, I had forgotten about that till now. Thank you for reminding me ;)

I live in North Carolina and remember this storm going through. Where I lived at the time, we got 18 inches. Still remains the 2nd largest snow storm I've ever gone through.

I wish I had some buddies that feel about the woods and camping and such like you and I, I wanna go on a snowstorm camping trip. It sounds so nice and fun, obviously takes work but it’s the kind of work I’d be down for.

Ramen and instant rice plus the fixins' is what I looked forward to. The cooking, watching, tasting and starving before a good dinner !!!! But, I guess the "baggies" make it a little easier and more exotic. Thanks, Luke.

Interesting that you were so concerned about removing the snow from your tent. Snow insulates. I’ve had a foot of fluffy snow on my tent, sides covered, and it was cozy, relatively speaking, when compared to a clean tent. Your tent looked to be strong enough not to buckle. Would you mind explaining your reasons for cleaning snow off the tent.

always good to bring an extra tarp to put it over the tent. Then you'll sleep peacefully.
